it was very enjoyable going to the council chambers. Councillor........ Was very interesting to listen to and he had lots to say. We took our questions with us and he was very informative when answering them. He told us how the chambers work including the strict rules. We particularly liked it when we got to sit in the Chambers where the chief councillors sits and bangs the hammer. I also enjoyed signing the visitors book.

It was lovely to have a visit today from Some of the children from Canolfan Enfys. We were lucky that it stayed dry for us and we enjoyed exploring the outdoor area.
our first activity was to collect some sticks for the campfire, everyone was eager to get involved.
Then we took our sticks back to sit round the campfire and watched it get lit.
We then went on a colour walk to collect leaves of different shapes and colours to put on our sun catchers.
Pupils showing off there sun catchers. Well done you did a great job.
Afterwards the children were keen to explore the area more and climb some of the low growing trees, before sitting down to a hot chocolate and breadstick sparklers.
Thank you for visiting, we hope you enjoyed your afternoon.
We have now selected a child from every class to take the role of being the student council. We have already decided our charities that we can help to support by raising money as a school . we want to help support the charity daffodils by having a onesie day and paying £1to help the unfortunate children around the local area.
As some people may already know Asda has donated £500 to our school we have decided to spend this money to buy fruit trees and materials to create a herbal garden.we are hoping that we can use it to help to cook school meals.
As student council we went through a section of the school evaluation report we agreed with the different comments that the teachers wrote.
We are going to invite canolfan enfys to our school. we will arrange for a group of their children to come here to show them the nature and animals that live in our school grounds.
We talked about visiting the council chambers in mold, which we are very excited about.
