On the 5 of January ifan, Robert, Paige and Frankie traveled to north a hall school to do a more able and talented maths afternoon. As we arrived at north a hall school we were met by mrs. Williams. we learnt about vedic maths which is 2000 years old but was rediscovered in the 20 century. first of all we had to do a times table square.first we learnt about digital roots which is where you add all the numbers together but if you have the number 46 which adds to 11 but digital roots can only be single digit numbers so you would do 1=1. Then we made some cool shapes using the number square we created. At the end we stuck it on a cardboard sheet. we all really enjoyed it and we would all love to come again.
